The Brazilian Association of Exporters and Producers of Fruit and Derivatives (Abrafrutas) will be present at the prestigious Global Agribusiness Festival (GAFFF) 2024, which takes place on the 27th and 28th of June in the city of São Paulo. The event, held by Datagro since 2012, is already a milestone on the global agribusiness agenda, bringing together global leaders and highlighting innovative and sustainable practices.

Luiz Roberto, Institutional Director of Abrafrutas, will be one of the moderators of the lecture “Climate change: how to mitigate and avoid the risks of extreme events”, one of the central themes of the event. Abrafrutas will also have its own stand, number 23, where the latest innovations and sustainable practices in fruit production in Brazil will be presented.

This year’s GAFFF promises to be the biggest culture, agrotechnology and discussion event on the future of agribusiness worldwide. With an expectation of 25 thousand participants over the two days, the festival will integrate gastronomy (Food), fair/technology (Fair) and agro culture (Fest), becoming a meeting point for discussing trends and actions in the agribusiness innovation ecosystem.

Among the highlighted themes, the event will address modern agricultural practices, preservation of natural resources and gender equity. Furthermore, trends and actions will be discussed to demonstrate that production in Brazil is sustainable, integrating corporate agriculture with family farming, respecting indigenous peoples and preserving forests and natural resources.

With the presence of ministers, international authorities and exhibitors from 50 new companies in the agricultural sector, the event will be a unique opportunity to strengthen networking, discuss the future of trade and sustainable production practices, in addition to valuing and making Brazilian agricultural products best known to the global consumer.
