Costelinha de porco com molho de goiaba
1.5 kg of pork ribs
180 g of guava
1 spoon of sugar
2 medium onions
5 cloves of garlic
Salt, ginger and fresh pepper to taste
1 barely full cup of soy sauce
METHOD OF PREPARATION
Place the rib in the baking dish.
Sprinkle with salt, then the juice of 1 lemon.
Mix 180 g of guava in a blender with 250 ml of water, pour into a container, adding the sugar, onions, garlic, ginger and chopped pepper.
Add the soy sauce and the juice of 1 lemon.
Pour this mixture over the rib and turn the rib so that the part with the most meat is on the bottom, absorbing more of the sauce.
Cover with plastic wrap and marinate overnight. The next day, cover with the aluminum foil (with the frosted part facing up), making a few holes to get the steam out or leaving a small gap in the side of the aluminum foil. Bake for 1 hour and 30 minutes over a low heat.
