The other parts of the fruit are also good for consumption. The seeds, for example, have fatty acids and omega 3 and 6 and therefore lower bad cholesterol. The peel contains 10 times more nutrients than the pulp, so much so that its bioactive compounds can be used by the pharmaceutical, cosmetics and food industries.
