- 3 tangerines
- 4 eggs
- ¾ cup of oil
- 1 ½ cups of sugar
- 2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon of baking powder
- Carefully wash the tangerines and cut them in half.
- Remove all the seeds, which, despite being small, are numerous.
- Take out the central white part and place two whole, peeled tangerines in the blender.
- Use only the juice of the last tangerine.
- Set aside the baking powder and add all the other ingredients to the blender.
- Blend thoroughly to ensure the tangerine is completely crushed.
- Add the baking powder last.
- Pour the mixture into a greased and floured pan, at least 22 cm in diameter and 8 cm in height, as the cake will rise, resulting in a fluffy texture.
- Bake in the oven at 180°C for approximately 45 minutes, or until the cake is golden brown.
