Check out three newcomer producers to the Frutas do Brasil project
The Frutas do Brasil project — the export program of the Brazilian Association of Producers and Exporters of Fruit and Derivatives (Abrafrutas), with the support from the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil) — has gained the adhesion of several producing companies exporters in recent months. The companies, which are standing out in the Brazilian fruit market, aim to expand their business abroad and promote the quality and flavor of our fruits around the world.
Açaí, passion fruit, grapes, pitaya: the new participants are producers from different parts of the country and grow a variety of fruits to suit all tastes. The search for quality, innovation and excellence in production are some common points. “With the adhesion of these companies, the Frutas do Brasil project further strengthens the Brazilian fruit sector”, explains Jorge de Souza, project manager at Abrafrutas.

Xingu Fruit
One of the new participants in the project is Xingu Fruit, an export producer of açaí and fruit pulp inspired by the clear waters of the Xingu River, located in the Brazilian state of Pará. Xingu Fruit is known for its transparency in relations with all stakeholders and for its search for innovation and work methodologies in fruit pulp companies, especially in açaí pulp.
Tropical Fruit
Tropical Fruit, an export producer from Manaus, in the Brazilian state of Amazonas, also joined the Frutas do Brasil project. The company is known for its operations in the Amazon region and works with the export of papaya, passion fruit, pitaya, among other fruits.
Fischer
Fischer S.A Agroindustry, the apple business area of the Fischer Group, is located in the city of Friburgo, in the Brazilian state of Santa Catarina. The company is one of the largest apple producers in Brazil and a reference in the Brazilian and international markets for its high quality standards, food safety and flavor of its fruits. In addition to apples and kiwis, Fischer is also responsible for the production of clarified and whole juices and the aroma of apples, pears and other own and imported fruits.

Abrafrutas (Brazilian Association of Producers and Exporters of Fruits and Derivatives), in partnership with ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), develops a project to support Brazilian exporters in their quest to expand their business; opening new markets; recognition and differentiation of Brazilian fruits; increase the healthy habit of consuming tasty and superior quality fruits. About Abrafrutas
The Brazilian Association of Producers and Exporters of Fruit and Derivatives (Abrafrutas) is a non-profit association whose purpose is to represent and promote Brazilian fruit growing in the international market. Created in 2014, Abrafrutas has approximately 70 associated fruit exporters and holds approximately 85% of the total volume of fresh fruit exported by Brazil.
