Brazil to Attend Fruit Attraction Madrid 2025 with 37 Companies
The Brazilian delegation will be present at the 2025 edition of Fruit Attraction, held in Madrid, Spain, from September 30 to October 2. The event will host over 2,200 exhibitors across more than 70,000 square meters of exhibition space. Furthermore, the “world capital of fruits” is expected to welcome around 120,000 visitors from 150 countries.
This year, Brazil will be represented by 37 companies associated with Frutas do Brasil, the internationalization project of the Brazilian Association of Fruit and Derivatives Producers and Exporters (Abrafrutas) in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil).
Frutas do Brasil will be located in Exhibition Hall 12, at booths D02, E02, and F02.
“We are highly optimistic about the outcomes at Fruit Attraction, as the main clients of Brazil’s fruit export sector will be there. New clients will also visit the Frutas do Brasil booth in search of reliable suppliers of safe, high-quality tropical fruits,” summarized Jorge de Souza, who is responsible for the event’s organization.
Carlo Porro, founder of Agrícola Famosa, highlights that his company has taken part in Fruit Attraction since its very first edition. The executive emphasizes the event’s great importance, which he considers a key gathering for all clients during a crucial period for the Brazilian fruit-growing sector. “It marks the beginning of the melon harvest season, so it’s an excellent time to engage with the market as a whole,” he said.
Brazilian Exports
Brazil arrives at Fruit Attraction Madrid as one of the world’s leading fruit exporters, despite facing adverse conditions in the international market. This position is backed by the results from the first half of the year and by the performance registered in the early months of the second half.
According to data from Abrafrutas, Brazilian exports grew by more than 27% in the first half of 2025. Melon was Brazil’s top exported fruit, with 118,000 tons shipped — a 19.74% increase compared to the same period last year. As of July, the country had already exported 81,000 tons of fruit, 58.52% more than during the same period in 2024.
